LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said on Tuesday that the provincial government had undertaken concrete steps for fast development and progress. 

Shahbaz Sharif made the following statements during a meeting with the Vice Governor of Ningxia province’s delegation. The CM Punjab said that development of infrastructure in Pakistan was being carried out as per international standards and work on power projects was being carried out at a steady pace.

During the meeting, both delegations agreed to further cooperation between both countries on the sectors of education, health, agriculture, industry and tourism. CM Shahbaz praised Chinese President’s ‘One Belt, One Road’ vision and stated that it would promote peace, prosperity and stability in the entire region. He also termed CPEC as a great gift from Pakistan’s staunch ally, China.

Vice Governor of Ningxia Province of China, Wang Heshan claimed that the pace at which Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif worked was unusual and unrivaled.
