Mira was admitted to a local hospital in Khar, Mumbai on August 24. Though the delivery was dated around mid-September, Mira gave birth on August 26. Doctors state the mother and child are doing fine and that they will be discharged in a couple of days, reported Indian Express.
Shahid Kapoor had been anxiously waiting for this moment for a while now, and this was clear from his Insta uploads of his then pregnant wife Mira Kapoor.
The doting dad shared memorable moments just days ahead of his baby’s arrival.
Shahid and Mira tied the knot in July 2015. Wishing the new parents lots love and happiness on the arrival of their first born.
