TAXILA: The counter terrorism department (CTD) has arrested two suspected members of so-called Islamic State (also known as Daesh) and recovered explosive material from their possession.
On the information provided by already arrested suspects, a team of CTD Rawalpindi raided their hideout near Margalla in limits of Taxila Police station and arrested Shakeel Khan and Hashim Khan and recovered 520 grams explosives, safety fuses and detonators.
According to sources, FIR has been registered against the suspects in CTD police station, Rawalpindi.
Sources said the suspects met IS Kharasan chief in Afghanistan and were involved in making recruitments for the organisation.
