Award-winning Iranian filmmaker’s home struck in US-Israel bombardment: Baghaei
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei has said that Abbas Kiarostami was struck in the bombardment of Iran. Kiarostami is a renowned Iranian director. Kiarostami won the Palme d’Or at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival.

“It enjoys a degree of trust in a very complex scenario, which no other country does,” the former envoy highlighted.

Israel claims struck 2 naval missile production sites in Tehran
The Israeli military claims it has struck two naval cruise missile production facilities. These facilities operate under Iran’s ministry of defence in Tehran, according to AFP.
“In recent days, the Israeli air force acted on IDF intelligence. They struck two key naval cruise missile production sites in Tehran,” the military said.
The military reported that the facility developed and manufactured long-range naval cruise missiles. These missiles can rapidly destroy targets at sea and on land.
The strikes “represent another step in deepening the damage done to the regime’s military production infrastructure”, it added.
