The Indian Army has intensified its oppressive house-to-house searches and has disregarded human rights violations with the arrest of many young Kashmiris, as noted by Mashaal Malik. She also reveals that 312 Kashmiris have been martyred in the year 2022 and thousands more have been arrested.

Furthermore, the Indian government is perpetrating further violations by granting domiciles to more than fifty thousand Hindus, forcibly occupying the lands of Kashmiris, and forming plans to crush the Hurriyat leadership.
