In the Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters have appeared in Srinagar asserting Kashmir’s identity as part of Pakistan and highlighting the deteriorating daily life of Kashmiris under the illegal occupation.

The posters, put up by Jammu and Kashmir Sada-e-Muzloom, featured images of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and detained Hurriyat leaders Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Masarat Alam Butt, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Mushtaq-ul-Islam and Aasiya Andrabi.

The posters called on the United Nations to fulfil its relevant resolutions and take action to resolve the Kashmir dispute. They also sent a strong message to India that the Kashmiris would never give in to the demand for their right to self-determination.
