The White House has said that President Donald Trump would not be “happy.” He would be concerned if Russia is sharing intelligence with Iran during the Middle East war. However, it held back any strong criticism for Moscow, AFP reports.
The Washington Post had reported that Moscow had passed sensitive intelligence to Tehran. This information included the locations of US warships and aircraft in the region.
“The president and his special envoy (Steve) Witkoff have both spoken. Of course, they’ve sent a message to Russia. They stated that if that was taking place, they would not be happy with it. They hope that it is not taking place,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told a briefing.
