Pakistan unequivocally condemns India’s deadly strikes, declares them ‘acts of war’
The National Security Council meeting has condemned the “illegal acts” by India as “blatant violations of Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, which manifestly constituted acts of war under international law”.
“The deliberate targeting of civilians, including innocent women and children, by the Indian military constitutes a heinous and shameful crime, that is in violation of all norms of human behaviour and the provisions of international law.”

DG ISPR Gen Ahmed Chaudhry clarified that no Indian aircraft was allowed to enter Pakistan’s airspace and none of Pakistan’s jets went into the airspace.
“At no time, any of their aircraft were allowed to enter into Pakistan’s airspace and also at no time, none of Pakistan’s aircraft went into Indian airspace,” he told a media briefing.
The Pakistan Army responded fully to the Indian aggression. They destroyed “several” Indian checkposts. The army showed footage of a brigade headquarters from where they said India was violating the LoC ceasefire.
Other checkposts hit included Chhatri, Jura and Sarlia-1, as well as a unit battalion headquarters.
India’s top airline IndiGo cancels 165 flights amid regional tensions
India’s top airline IndiGo said it has cancelled 165 flights from 11 locations, including Srinagar in occupied Kashmir, Reuters reports.
IndiGo, which operates over 2,200 flights daily, is among the worst impacted airlines due to fighting between India and Pakistan. Its shares had fallen as much as 3.1 per cent and were trading 1pc lower, as of 1:52pm IST (1:22pm PKT).
Finance minister convenes emergency meeting to review market resilience, national financial situation
An emergency meeting was convened today in the Finance Division under the chairmanship of the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, a press release by the finance ministry said.
Aurangzeb, joining on Zoom, convened the meeting to assess the current financial landscape in light of escalating regional tensions following the recent belligerent Indian aggression.
Participants conducted a rapid risk assessment and evaluated the current threat perception with an emphasis on ensuring national financial stability and security, the press release said.
“Recognizing the critical importance of market stability, the meeting reaffirmed the government’s firm commitment to maintaining business continuity across all financial and allied sectors.
“The participants also emphasized the importance of heightened vigilance against a wide range of threats, with a special focus on cybersecurity and communication infrastructure. Contingency plans have been reinforced to ensure operational resilience and secure communication lines across financial institutions.”
LEAs, medical teams in Sindh put on high alert: home minister
Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar says he has directed law enforcement agencies, along with medical, rescue and civil defence personnel, to be on high alert.
“All relevant authorities have been instructed to report for duty at once,” a statement by the Sindh home minister said.
“District administrations across Sindh have been directed to remain on alert 24/7 for civil defence. Siren and warning systems are to remain active in case of an emergency.”
“Shelters should be identified and made functional,” Lanjar added.
