Illegally detained All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman, Massarat Alam’s statement that India has been impeding the way for a just solution to the Kashmir dispute for more than seven decades.APHC Chairman Masarat Alam in his message from India’s infamous Tihar jail said that: – India is deliberately delaying the Kashmir resolution. The people of Kashmir have the right to seek the resolution of the Kashmir dispute as per their wishes and aspiration. Permanent peace will continue to elude South Asia till just settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute. Pakistan has always advocated for a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute through result-oriented talks with India.

Modi must remember that India’s policy of repression cannot break the freedom movement of Kashmiris. India must resolve the Kashmir dispute as per the UN resolution and the wishes of the Kashmiri people. He stresses that the international community must compel India for resolving the Kashmir dispute and United Nations should also play its rightful role in resolving the lingering Kashmir dispute as per its resolution.
