“A Grave Sin: Interfering with the True Meaning of the Holy Quran”. Abdul Qadeer Awan

Interfering with the exact meaning of the Holy Quran or changing its meaning to suit one’s own likes and dislikes is like inviting the blazing fire of Hellfire into one’s own abode. We often understand the Holy Quran wrongly and look for favorable verdicts.

Doing so is a great sin in the eyes of Allah Almighty and His beloved Prophet Muhammad SAWW. Ameer Abdul Qadeer Awan Sheikh Silsila Naqshbandia Awaisia, Patron of Tanzeem AlIkhwan, addressed these issues on Friday and emphasized that the Holy Quran is not only a remedy for the Muslim Ummah but also nourishment for their souls. Those who have knowledge of the Holy Quran have to bear the greatest responsibility in protecting its true meaning and should use worldly life as a trial to gain further insight into the teachings of the Holy Quran.

In conclusion, it is evident that interfering with the true meaning of the Holy Quran or altering it to suit one’s own desires is considered a grave sin in the eyes of Allah Almighty and His beloved Prophet Muhammad SAWW. Doing so has dire consequences and can bring great harm to one’s spiritual and emotional well-being. It is imperative that those who have knowledge of the Holy Quran should use this opportunity to preserve its original meaning and use it as nourishment for their souls, rather than distorting its true intentions. In addition, those who understand the Holy Quran are responsible for protecting its true message and results and act as beacons of righteousness in this world. May Allah grant us all the strength to follow the true teachings of the Holy Quran. Ameen.
