Incident of blind murder of Rickshaw driver traced, victim’s wife got him killed through a hit man in connivance with the landlord, police took 05 accused persons into custody including victim’s wife, landlord and the hit man. According to the details, the process of tracing heinous incidents by the City Police Officer, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Faisal Rana continues and the rate of traced incidents is increasing day by day. SP Rawal Asif Masood told CPO Faisal Rana in a briefing that a rickshaw driver Amir Shahzad s/o Khawaja Aziz was murdered in the area of Pir Wadhai on which a case against unknown persons was registered with the police station Pir Whadhai. To trace the incident of blind murder, police obtained the mobile data of the cell phone under use of the killed rickshaw driver, utilized the latest scientific technology and after completing the legal requirements, arrested all the 05 accused Amir Shahzad s/o Muhammad Din, wife of the victim Zahra Bibi, Hassan Shah, Bilal Nawaz and Zakir Shah the hatchet man who shot killed the victim. The SP told that during investigation of the case, it came to the front that Amir Shahzad s/o Khawaja Aziz was a rickshaw driver and was residing in a rented house owned by Amir Shahzad s/o Muhammad Din.

The landlord established illicit relations with the wife of the rickshaw driver and both of them planned to kill the rickshaw driver for which Hassan Shah and Bilal Nawaz acted as facilitators. The accused persons settled a deal with the notorious hatchet man Zakir Shah who shot killed the rickshaw driver for six lac fifty thousand rupees. CPO Faisal Rana appreciated SP Rawal for tracing the blind murder case and said that the real policing are to trace the blind cases where the accused persons are unknown.
The CPO said that the way Rawalpindi police are tracing the heinous incidents; law abiding citizens of Rawalpindi are acknowledging the spirit which is being expressed through appreciation on the social media. The CPO directed SP Rawal to supervise the investigation of the case and to challan the accused to Court with solid evidence so that they could be given exemplary punishment by the Hon’ble Court.
