Dmitry Medvedev’s statement at the meeting:
I want to greet you, Mr Prime Minister, and congratulate you on your appointment, on your being elected to the post of Prime Minister.
Pakistan is a big and very promising partner for Russia, so this meeting is clearly helpful, even in this format of communicating at the forum, at the expo that is currently underway in Shanghai.
This is a good opportunity to discuss current affairs and maybe even come up with some interesting new proposals which could be implemented.
