ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet has granted ex-post facto approval to the formation of National Implementation Committee on FATA Reforms. Minister for Defence and Corps Commander 11 Corps have been included in the high level implementation committee, state media reported.
During a meeting in Islamabad with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the chair, the cabinet also approved the Hajj Policy and Plan for next year with directions not to increase Hajj dues under the Government Hajj Scheme.
The meeting ratified minutes of the meetings of Economic Coordination Committee and minutes of the meetings of Cabinet Committee on CPEC.
The Cabinet approved appointment of Rear Admiral Zaka-ur-Rehman as Director General Pakistan Maritime Security Agency.
