95 percent TDPs of FATA repatriated to native areas

ISLAMABAD: Ninety five percent Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) have been repatriated to their native areas.

According to FATA Disaster Management Authority, 320,000 families of Temporarily Displaced Persons have gone back to their areas.

The remaining 17,000 TDP families belonging to North Waziristan and Khyber Agencies will be completed by the end of this year. The Federal Government is providing Rs25000 and six months ration to each returning TDPs family.
