Iran shows interest in joining CPEC
(BY : Ijaz Hashmi )Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has reiterated his country’s unflinching support and friendship to Pakistan, terming it a “trusted brother.

He made these remarks during his meeting with the Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and the members of his delegation in Tehran on Monday.

President Rouhani said that the two countries should take benefit of the complementarities enjoyed by the two countries and forge cooperation with each other.

He showed immense interest in Iran’s joining the CPEC.

Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq stressed Pakistan’s policy of unity among the Muslim World.

He assured President Rouhani that Pakistan would never take any step that could go against the interests of the brotherly country of Iran.

He said that our region is worst affected by terrorism and we must pool our resources to jointly curb this menace.

While referring to the recent news reports on the brutalities of Indian Forces in the Indian Occupied Kashmir, the Speaker asked Iran to play its role in the early implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolutions.

He also thanked the President for Iran’s continued support to Pakistan on Kashmir issue.

( By :Ijaz Hashmi ) Pakistan Army will play its due role in a legal and transparent manner in the investigation of the Panamagate case, the corps commanders resolved on Monday.
“The forum pledged that the institution, through its members in joint investigation team, shall play its due role in a legal and transparent manner fulfilling confidence reposed by the apex court of Pakistan,” the military’s media wing, Inter-Service Public Relations, said in a statement.
According to the communiqué, the 202nd Corps Commanders Conference discussed the Panama Case verdict by the Supreme Court of Pakistan “with special reference to JIT”. The participants of the meeting also reviewed progress of the ongoing countrywide military offensive Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.

Forum also discussed Panama Case decision by Supreme Court with special reference to Joint Investigation Team (JIT). The forum pledged that Institution through its members in JIT shall play its due role in a legal and transparent manner fulfilling confidence reposed by the Apex Court of Pakistan.
